How many EMR systems have you looked at?

How many times have you heard your colleagues in larger clinics who have made the upgrade to one of those highly expensive, fully integrated EMR system wonder aloud how they ever got along without their EMR System?

That’s what we thought when we looked at some of those EMR systems out there, that’s what we set out to do when we decided to design something different and with VantagePoint EMO that is what we have done.

We take the exact documents and forms you are using in your practice, recreate them inside of our document design and management system, attach them to a database making them “smart”,  and then let you fill out the varied information as appropriate. You can use a keyboard to enter this varied information or you can use voice to text. If you use our briefcase version on a Tablet PC, you can fill out the varied information with digital ink.

Once you have filled out the document, you can attach our exclusive biometric signature to it, and using our sophisticated interoffice mail system, move it directly to the patient’s record or forward it on for staff review and/or signature and then store it in the patient’s electronic file.

Once the data is stored, there are reports available which will give you a good idea as to how the paperwork of your practice is flowing. And let’s face it, in today’s information intensive medical environment, nobody cares about what you do, they only care about what you write about what you do. Therefore, as flows the paper, so flows the financial health of your practice.
